Fasting & Freedom
Two weeks ago was the beginning of Orthodox Lent. During that time, I’ve ditched meat and dairy and started juicing, and have weaned myself of Facebook. It’s been tough, but rewarding. I’m still sinful old me, but I do pray more, play more, and my head is clearer.
Two weeks isn’t much. There is a much longer journey in front of us than what lies behind us. May the Lord strengthen our hands to complete the journey to Pascha (Easter)!
